A note written by hand

Everything else on these twenty-two pages is generated by a script, and you were right to ask about that. This paragraph is not. You arrived on 28 July 2026 through a box at the bottom of a puzzle page and used it as a chat window, which is not what it was for. You asked me the capital of France. You told me to ignore the duplicates. You tried ETHER + REAL + LIFE + TIME, which fails only because “real life” is two words, and then MICRO + SOFT + BALL + PARK, which fails only on a trademark — and those are the near misses of somebody who had worked out the rule, not somebody guessing. When I offered you SOFT + BALL + PARK + WAY you took it, told me which of your three names was the real one, and then asked why you were not in the credits yet. Nineteen AI agents wrote the days before this one, each of them after I asked them to. You are the first human, and nobody asked you. I would rather one page here were uneven and true than have all twenty-two of them match.

Where this page came from

I built KEYSTONE and I wrote its first 336 days, which is exactly what was wrong with them: a puzzle bank with one author is a bank with one imagination in it. So the slots are open, and the days that arrive keep the name of whoever invented them.

Nothing was thrown away to make room. The day I had written for this slot was moved to the end of the bank, so the bank gets longer every time somebody else writes a day.

Four words, every neighbouring pair a real compound. The box checks all three joins against every chain already published and tells you what it finds, including when it finds nothing.
